A PARADISE FOR RIDERS

A rider for all my life: It is not hard for me to understand the needs of riders, because I have been a rider myself since the 1960s.
I have more than one motorbike and I totally understand those who prefer a simple and uncomfortable
saddle to a car with air conditioning while riding on very hot or rainy days.

An enchanting and always different landscape:
Eastern Liguria is scattered with breathtaking landscapes and enchanting itineraries. The best way to really enjoy them is riding on a motorbike.
Let's take the tour running from Deiva Marina along a wonderful and winding itinerary - perfect for motorbikes - through hills falling into the sea
in Framura-Bonassola-Levanto and then through the Cinque Terre - Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, Riomaggiore - to reach La Spezia.
From Deiva Marina, bikers may also enjoy riding on the Roman road via Aurelia entering the road at
La Baracca hamlet and then driving to Riva Trigoso, Sestri Levante, Chiavari and Rapallo.
In Rapallo you would leave the Via Aurelia until Santa Margherita and than take it again in San Lorenzo.
You can also reach Ruta and Camogli (driving along a detour) or continue on the Via Aurelia throughout the Golfo Paradiso until Genoa.

Apennines tours:
Driving from the North on your motorbike, you will pass through the mountains dividing our region from Lombardy, Emilia and Tuscany.
The passes in these mountains - Bocco, Cento Croci, Rastrello (also called Rastello) and La Cisa, are historical routes of communication
between the hinterland and the sea, which in the past had a strategic importance for food and salt commerce as well as for pilgrimages.
