GETTING TO DEIVA MARINA

Deiva Marina is in Northern Italy, on the Eastern Ligurian Riviera, half-way between the Cinque Terre and Portofino.
Deiva Marina is very easy to reach by train, car or motorcycle, by plane, boat, bike and even walking! It all depends on your starting point!
Hotel Clelia Logis d’Italia is located in Deiva Marina, in Corso Italia 23
GPS N44° 12.960’ – E 009°31.045’

We are on the main road of the town centre, 100 m from the sea and 300 m from the railway station.

How to get to Deiva Marina by train:
Travelling by train is for sure the easiest way to get around in Liguria and the Cinque Terre area, especially if you wish to stay close to the coastline.
Almost all the regional trains stop at the station of Deiva Marina.
It is usually necessary to change train in Sestri Levante for those travelling from the Western Riviera, or in La Spezia when coming
from East when travelling with other types of Italian national railway trains (Intercity, Eurostar or Freccia high-speed trains).
Visit the website of the Italian national railways for further information: www.trenitalia.com
Hotel Clelia Logis d’Italia is only 300 m from the train station, which makes it easy to reach walking.
Upon request a shuttle service is available for our guests arriving at the Deiva Marina station as well as the Moneglia one.
You can find a complete description on the journey to Deiva Marina from the most important Italian cities
as well as from France, Switzerland, Austria and Slovenia at www.cinqueterreriomaggiore.com.

How to get to Deiva Marina by car:
Deiva Marina has its own exit from the A12 Motorway.
For those travelling from the East by car the Deiva Marina exit is the first one after Levanto-Carrodano,
while for those coming from the West, it is the first one after Sestri Levante.
To reach Deiva Marina from the motorway exit, take the road in the direction of the sea and drive for about 7 km.
Hotel Clelia Logis is on the right side of the road, 300 m after the rail bridge.

Satellite navigation systems will also suggest an alternative route: exit the A12 motorway
at Sestri Levante and follow the SS1 Aurelia road until Sestri Levante-Riva Trigoso.
From there you can drive along the panoramic TUNNEL ROAD, which will take you to Moneglia and then to Deiva Marina.
Until the beginning of the 1930s, this road was actually a railway! Be careful as this road operates in an alternating one-way traffic system.
For those travelling from Riva Trigoso to Deiva Marina the traffic light is green 15, 35,
and –55 minutes after the hour; for those travelling from Deiva Marina to Sestri Levante - Riva Trigoso
the traffic light is green every hour and 20, and 40 minutes after the hour.
